1890s Wasp Waist Corset
This corset was drafted using my measurements from Stays and Corsets, Historical Patterns for the Modern Body by Mandy Barrington. It includes; center back lacing, center front metal busk, 48 encased bones, canvas duck layer, cotton broad cloth underling, and a finished lining.
Tailored Vogue Jacket
I built this jacket using a commercial Vogue pattern. This fully tailored jacket was built using a wool suiting material and includes pad stitching, horsehair interfacing, hand sewn lining, and encased pockets.
Millinery
I built this hat for a class project. I drafted the pattern and constructed it using instructions from From the Neck Up: An Illustrated Guide to Hatmaking by Denise Dreher.
